Spotlight - truly a favorite this time of year!
For the past four years I have been able to transplant new starts of this variety in various locations of the garden. The bright yellow started blooming early July.
This mum was just planted this year and seems to be have been touched by the frost a few nights ago.
This is for sure my favorite picture for the day.
Enjoy the weekend and please stop back and share what you are are planting this season.
Please check out some of my other friends on Blogger who are participating in Fertilize Friday headed up by Dear Tootsie. You won't want to miss her information about preparing the GREENHOUSE for the winter.

I so wish I had your green fingers, everything is so perfect! Have a lovely weekend. XXX
Nice photos of the mums! Yours are doing great this fall.
It is hard to beat the splash of color that mums give to the fall landscape. They are such a cheery plant.
the photos are prettier each time I come back to look!
Some people dislike mums, but it doesn't seem like autumn without them to me. I love the colors of the mums in your pictures! They are all beautiful!
Beautiful shots! So glad you stopped by so I could be introduced to YOUR garden. Mine entails less about the growing of actual gardens and more about the familial garden, though I LOVE real gardens and flowers too. :) Thanks so much for sharing your beauty.
Thanks for visiting me, Bren, and taking the time to comment. Your mums are inspiring me to get some small ones for our NYC window box .. weather permitting tomorrow.
Lovely photos!
Bren, Beautiful Mums! Between Mums and Asters I believe just about every color is covered! We can't overwinter Mums often, but Asters are very reliable! :)
Hi Bren~~ Out of your bevy of lovely mums, I'm most enamored with the fluffy, double red.
Bren, what a beautiful show of Mums. They are just gorgeous.
Good for you for getting them to naturalize so well.
Hi Bren, i got an award for you. go and get it from my blog page.

Odette... you are too sweet! Thank you for thinking of me!
They are all beautiful varieties and I wish I had more. They are worth all the greenery until the big a-ha moment.
