Happy Bloom Tuesday
To kick off the day the daisies are gearing up for a fabulous show. It seems they are loving this perfect 70* and sunny day in the Midwest as well.
Lunch at Ben's Table
This afternoon Hubby and I headed into town to enjoy some homemade cooking at our favorite Mom & Pop Restaurant. Nothing better then supporting our local business' during these rough economic times. I was happy to see they have kept my favorite Turkey Burger with fresh veggies on the menu these days. Home made Rhubarb & Strawberry Pie was today's dessert special so of course we had to split one A la mode! I had to snap a few shots of the adorable Rooster arrangement and potted containers out front of the family owned and operated shop. In the back of the restaurant the owners husband keeps busy working on a delightful garden that has a working train. We will have to come back and share photos when the garden is at it's peak.
If you are ever out on Rt. 6 in N.W. Ohio be sure to get off at the Bowling Green exit just past Home Depot and Walmart you will find Ben's Table. Read more about their fabulous little restaurant at the link provided by Merchant Circle.com

I love the daisy collage...so pretty, but the slice of pie is what really caught me eye ;-) YUM...sounds wonderful
The pie was yummy.... I only had two little bites because I am trying to cut back on calories. :-) You would think with all the work in those gardens one would find me as skinny as a rail. (grin)
Thanks for visiting Kelly!
Fresh rhubarb does sound delish! I can't grow it well down here. It's but one thing I miss from the north.
Your flower photos are stunning! And that restaurant you went to sounds like my type of place - I love Mom & Pop restaurants!
I love little mom/pop restaurants. They usually have the best food in town.
As I am not likely to ever pass by there......I will just sulk & make my own pie, thanks to your recipe!!

So loving spring right now.
I have NEVER had rhubarb pie. I will have to try it. What a nice little place to have lunch. Have a good day
My in-laws live in Ohio, if we ever visit again we'll have to check out Ben's Table. Sound great.
Hi! Thank you for following me!
Your blog is awesome. Your photographs are beautiful.
It's a small world. My father was from Bowling Green, Ohio. As a little girl, we visited often.
My grandfather was county engineer for years and years.
Please stop back and write with me. Somehow I know you're filled with creativity!
Check out my animal blog too...

I started my writing blog in January because my freelance work was so down. My hope was to network and get more speaking engagements.
That has happened, but the best part of all is that I'm writing with and talking to some of the most inspiring people I've ever met.
Hope to talk to you soon...Jan
