It was a busy Bloom Tuesday

Busy day in the greenhouse.  The sun was out most of the day and I was able to do some major cleaning before we prepare to plant some new seeds.  The rose above is my Happy Bloom Tuesday Image to share.  She is a mini rose that I have had for about 2 years now.   Enjoy the bloom... she is coming to you from my greenhouse.

I took my Fuji FinePix s2000HD with me out to the Greenhouse today while I did my chores. I share some information about the new heater and some cleaning that needed to be done. In the North side of the greenhouse I am getting a little unwanted green so we spent a few minutes with bleach water cleaning that up.

Looking forward to planting some seeds tomorrow. I hope you will join me!

Loved being in the greenhouse with you! I didnt see a bench/chair for you to sit and admire it all though! Starting seeds sounds wonderful, pushing spring here.

That rose is a beautiful color, Bren. Especially on a gloomy day. Have you used banana peels to fertilize them?
For anyone who doesn't know, the potassium in the peel is not only good for your gramdpa, it's also appreciated by your roses. Just let the peels air dry on a cookie sheet. When they are completely dry, crumble them into a paper bag and let them sit for a couple of days.
Now, when you want to feed those beauties, just mix a bit of the crumbled peel into the soil. They will thank you, I promise.
