The Blooms of 2009

I can't title this entry the 'best' because I have over 400,000 photos from summer in the Garden alone and it is IMPOSSIBLE to sort through all of them before the NEW YEAR! However, I did enjoy a morning sorting throw 2009 - a year to remember. I hope you are inspired to think back on what a glorious year this truly was.

I would like to invite you to stop by the BGgarden Fan page at :BGgarden on FACEBOOK
There are more images shared on that site with friends in the Garden Network.

I hope you enjoyed my look back on 2009 and share the joy of the year to come!

Wow, you've set a new high mark for garden photo collages. That is something to be proud of. It's like a visual garden journal of your summer, too.

Thanks for sharing!

I haven't blogged for a year yet, but I am on the hunt for a portable hard drive to store all of my photos. I find that I can take 20 to 30 a shooting and I don't like deleting that many of my images. Your photos are so good and that collage is amazing. I hope your have a great New Year's day and a happy new year.

Happy New Decade, dear one! I love your photography. You have a wonderful eye for composition, and your subjects are delightful. I look forward to seeing more in the new year. Btw, I wore out a Canon Rebel, I took so many photos. Even so, I think you've set a record!

Bren, are you serious!?! 400,000 just from 2009?! I thought I took a lot of pictures but I'm not even close to that! I think my computer would probably revolt.
I hope you have a wonderful flower-filled 2010! Happy New Year!

What a beautiful collection of photos! Can I ask what software you use, to assemble them? It is such a wonderful format. All the best for 2010.

RYAN - It is easy with Picasa by google. http://picasa.google.com/
Check them out - it is FREE!

Most of my images in that collage were actually captured with my Fuji FInePixS2000 HD. I received the NIkon D90 in mid May 2009.

EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE is a must Mr.Burgus! They are super cheap these days. I think the biggest headache can be networking them if you have more them one PC in the house.

Robin - 432,9000 for Summer 09 was the actual count! LOL

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! You totally made my NEW YEAR opening these wonderful comments. Looking forward to 2010 with you all in the garden!

Many Happy Blooms!
