Soaking up the Sun

Red Cherry - Knautia
Can you believe this Red Cherry - Knautia is blooming?  I thought it was only a spring bloomer and enjoyed HOT conditions. After all it is a ROCK garden favorite. The greenhouse it is growing in averages a night temperature of 50* and days sometimes only reaching 65*.  On this day in late November the temperature was well over 100* and sunny most of the day.
Today I spent some time potting some new plants in the greenhouse.  Pictured above is the new Lime Shrub I received from Black Diamond Nursery located in Perrysburg, Ohio.
You all know me.... a blog entry wouldn't be complete without sharing one of my furry friends!
This little chestnut Netherland Dwarf was more interested in the Fuji FinePix digital camera I was using rather then the greens all around her.

I so love the greenhouse tour....I believe your unknown plant with the tiny blue flowers might be Blue Daze and the pink foliage plant you like looks like hypoestes or Pink Blush.....

Your rabbit in the photo is frosting on the cake. Your plants look good.

Love the rabbit! I am growing Red Cherry Knautia outside in zone 5. Even after 2 snows and many nights below freezing, it is blooming away on Dec 1. I cut some to bring inside yesterday. Sure hope it makes it through the winter.

Great tour Bren! don't forget to prune the hibiscus in December to get the larger and better looking foliage for the summer. I wish I could have a greenhouse you are so lucky!
