Ohioans spread Holiday Cheer (part 2)

The second half of my trip down to Kylee's neck of the woods included a stop over at  Laurie's NatureScapes
Laurie and her helpful staff show what Ohio Gardeners do best in the winter months.  We bring the green indoors!   This adorable Garden Shoppe has wonderful gifts for the garden and your home.  I could have spent all day inside taking photos of the all the Christmas spirit.

Collage above of some of my favorite Garden items used indoors during the Christmas season.

Laurie's NatureScapes just saved me a trip up to William Sonoma for some of what once was my favorite mulling spices to add to my cider crockpot during the Holiday Season.  The mix she carries in her store is AMAZING and I can't wait to serve it to my guest at Thanksgiving.  A group of costumers were chit-chattin around the 'cider sample' and I learned you could add some oranges and cloves to that crock full of cider.  What a blast!

Did you know you could purchase pre-lite potted Blue Spruce Trees?
You can at this Garden Shoppe!

During this eventful day attending Christmas Open Houses'  I couldn't help but notice  that Mother nature was hanging some bulbs on the trees outdoors as well.

Are you getting inspired to start decorating garden and home Yet? Don't worry if you are not feeling the Holiday Spirit yet because I will have more to come from my Neck of the Woods with Ohioans in the Winter Garden.

Delightful Bren! I saw Kylee's post ... you gals had 'too much fun' :) P.S. Adding fresh greens, I always do cranberries and candles like the photo.

I brought home some cute Gingerbread figurines that I will share when I get my own Christmas decor set up at home. I love doing the kitchen up in candies and gingerbread!

THANK YOU for stopping by and it looks like I did accomplish what I wanted to do - spread some EARLY Christmas spirit!

Happy Autumn Friends!

How cool that you got to meet another blogger and go to those neat stores. I enjoyed reading to where I left off. Oh, and I saw you had some pretty colored gazanias in your greenhouse. My butter and eggs go dormant in the winter, then come back in the pot when spring gets here. I bet it would be fine in a pot in your greenhouse, but I don't know if it needs cold in the winter or not.
