Lime, Pink and loads of FALL!

It is starting to look and feel like Autumn in my neck of the woods on this day in September.  The local farmers are selling pumpkins and mums and I am having fun supporting them!  Today I picked up these treasures featured in the photo above to use on my front porch celebrating the upcoming Fall season.

Many of my favorite perennials and trees are featuring PINK this time of year.  The Smoke Tree and the Peony bush just to name a few of these show stoppers.

I noticed a few weeks ago as the Limelight Hydrangea was just kicking with the Fall Blooms how it was sporting more pink then lime.  The photo on the left was taken today.

A single Limelight bloom is surrounded by what resemble the blooms on the Pinky Winky Shrub.  Not sure what caused this reaction but I am loving it!

Enjoy the Fall Color!

Nice fall color, Bren. Your leaves turning color are really beautiful, as is your front porch arrangement.

Hi Bren, You are showing a nice array of Fall photos. I, on the other hand, am having a hard time believing that it's nearly the end of September!! ;0

They are all nice soft colors, especially against that bright orange pumpkin. We have a pumpkin shortage here for the first time ever. I guess the rains ruined vines.

We don't have too much turning in the gardens quite yet...the air is a little lighter and cooler in the mornings though. Your porch decorations are pretty!!!

Bren, one of my hydrangeas has blooms which have turned the same colors as yours, and this is also new to me. I thought perhaps it is just fall coloring.

I never would have guessed that was a peony leaf, Bren. I love the pink and green combos. Gorgeous photos and a great reminder of the upside of autumn.
