Enjoying the signs of upcoming Fall

As I load up the wheel barrel with more tomatoes to stew, I notice the wonderful color starting to bloom.  During my break I headed out to the garden with my Nikon in hand to snap a few shots of the Fall preview.
Out of the dozen photos I took I am going to share with you my favorites.

I was surprised to find some acorns on the ground.  Where did all the squirrels go.

Maybe Boo knows...................

A nest that has fallen from a near by walnut tree.

Back to the Garden where the sunflowers start to go to seed.
Thanks for stopping by today - and enjoy the last days of Harvesting!

I've noticed the squirrels are hiding their Winter stash in all of my flowerpots !
Everyday there is dirt scattered all over the place, and dying flowers everwhere...
Love the Sunflower picture, it is a perfect example of season's end.
I so enjoy visiting your garden.

Really nice shots of fall coming. The silhouette though the leaves is especially nice.

I just told my hubbie today on my way to work I saw the most beautiful Bradford pear in all it's red fall glory. I thought it was way too early for that but it was so pretty.
