Saturday Seasons

The collage above is a collection of images reflecting on the four seasons we have here in zone 5b. I am entering this collection in a local photography contest. WISH ME LUCK!

This blog entry is going to be an 'artsy' one of sort because I also want to share with you my digital Imaging project I did from a photo I have of my Jack kitty. I used Photoshop to create this image.

I just love the photo above because it truly shows how my dear Jack kitty is.... He thinks he is being sneaking and about to pounce the next thing that moves in front of him!

Happy Auguest Friends!

Hey Bren,

Those pics are gorgeous. Love that camera! I bet you have a great chance of winning that contest.
I'm not a cat person, but that is a beautiful cat. Such great pics!
Have a great day.

Good luck with your four season pictures. I like the one at the top of the post. Trying to figure out how you photoshopped your kitty picture.

My "girls" would LOVE Jack !
He is a beauty .. we have a very black cat who is naughty and visits the garden to "watch" the birds .. his name is "Mr. Mystery"
I do wish you luck for the contest , that is a beautiful display of the 4 seasons .. I am also in zone 5b .. I should be doing something like that too ! : )

Good luck in the competition, I am sure you have a great chance. I love "season" pictures, especially of the same view as it changes. Quite lovely.

Bren, girl did you put your pictures in the local electric contest for a calendar page? I put in two but they probably will not win anything. Most of my seasonal pictures were lost when my computer crashed. I only got copies of them from photobucket which made them too small for the contest. Good Luck and I hope you win. Your picture collage is beautiful.

Your cat photo is outstanding. Your collages are always so well done. Are you using Photoshop to do those or do you have a program that helps you to make them. I have seen a number of collage makers out there but I am slow on Photoshop to get them made readily.

THANK YOU everyone for the well wishes - and I didn't even share with you my MACRO shots ( flowers of course!) because of lack of time.

I can't wait to share with you the results from the show.

A few of you asked about my collages that I make on my blog. I use the Picasa program that is FREE from Google. It is FAST and easy - just like logs should be!

Off to the Fair - WISH ME LUCK!

Love your four seasons shot, I am working on a similar project..very interesting.
I will guess that the leaves were not in the original photo of Jack..did you work in layers..I find that so confusing.. you did great whatever you did! :)
