July Jam - SUNDAY EASY!

For the past few days I have been working on canning a few of my favorite in season fruits. This was the first year after waiting 3 years to have a harvest big enough to actually process some of my own jam. So far I have gotten about 20 pints worth of delicious raspberry jam. One Jar is totally going to county fair for judging. The recipe is super easy - I simple use the recipe in the SURE JELL package!

I don't want to miss out on all the JULY BLOOM fun so I am posting this collage above featuring a walk about I did this morning in a few of my gardens. All the flower photos featured on this entry today are from my Fuji Finepix S2000HD. It was in the shop for a recall and I just recently had it returned to me. This is a fabulous little camera which features HD video recording. Great camera for SNAP and GO shots.

I am happy to note the Agastache plant I divided in the spring is doing well in both locations of the garden today. Read more about my Blue Fortune at the link highlight.

You can't leave out the Echinacea in July - one of the best bloomers in the garden even during a dry spell.

My first shot of the morning was of Boo.... enjoying my rocking chair on the front porch. I hope you enjoy your Sunday in the Garden. Thank you for taking the time to stop by!

Hey Bren,
Man your camera takes nice pictures. What part of Ohio do you live in? I don't know if you've read my recent post, but I just got back from Ohio. I have heard there are some gorgeous places to visit, but where we were at wasn't that great. Of course, we had a terrible flight, our hotel room wasn't very nice, and I got all congested the first night we were there. The conference wasn't very good, so my perception of Ohio was not good. Hope you don't take offense to my post. Hugs from Texas.

Congratulations on your home-made jam! It's a fabulous feeling eating food that we produce ourselves. We have lots of potatoes and onions at the moment. Maybe next year I'll try making jam!

That Boo is one lucky cat. :)

Wow, raspberry jam, it looks great. My meager bushes will end up giving me three pies. One pie every two weeks. I have frozen the last few pickings to get enough for that third pie. Jams and jellies are so fun to make and to share with family too.

What a beautiful post, Bren! And that jam looks scrumptious! Raspberry is my favorite of all the fruits like that. I wish they didn't have those seeds, though.

Boo is gorgeous!

Homemade Jam! They are the best ;-) Your collages are still the best I have seen. Photos are well taken also. Looks like that Fuji camera is really good. But I think your flowers and fruits in your garden are even better! Beautiful. Enjoy your jam and happy gardening!

Bren, your jam looks so beautiful to look at in their new jars and I can almost taste it. Yummy. Your camera takes great pictures but the angle in which you take them is so pretty and all yours. I hope you win a blue ribbon with your jams.

Hi Bren, I like the collages people are making, but I really like the individual photos better. Yours are great! And thanks for the tip on the jam recipe. :-)
