What is this Bloom on Tuesday?

Mystery Bloom Tuesday
This is another bloom that my sister in law gave me years ago from her country garden. I planted it in my small garden in town that was mostly clay. When we moved to the country I brought this May - June Bloomer and planted it in mostly sunny and somewhat sandy soil. She is doing well and I have been able to divide it twice now in the past six years. I know it as 'BUTTON FLOWER'. Any ideas what this pretty bloomer is really named?

Happy Bloom Tuesday!

I have some of those! Mom gave them to me years ago. It's a buttercup. I'll have to look up the botanical name for it. Aren't they cute? :-)

Here we go... Meadow Buttercup or Double Creeping Buttercup.

Could be either!

YES YES... that last link you sent from Daves Garden matches the photo of my BUTTERCUPS! LOVE IT! THANK YOU so very much. IT is a wonderful perennial in May and June.. but not much of a filler the rest of the summer. THANK YOU KYLEE.... you are amazing!

I agree. Very nice while it's blooming, then it just becomes rather annoying. LOL.

YES KYLEE.... I did go back on Sunday with Hubby. We bought more berries and he even purchased a Apricot tree at 40% off - after sampling a few of those cherries on the tree next to it! MADE ME THINK OF OUR VISIT!

A few blog entries down I mentioned I purchased some annuals for the Fair containers and they were all from Bench's. I will share those baskets as soon as I get them planted. I just received 30 JEWEL Berrie Plants via EBAY that I had to get in the raised bed.

Can't wait to see where you have planted those new goodies!

I really like all your collages! The pictures are so nicely cropped and placed and of course snapped. Nice ;-)

I know it only as double buttercup but Kylee did the work for me and provided the Latin name. So all that's left to do is enjoy them! :)

What a lovely bloom! I thought it was buttercup, but didn't notice it was double. The plain buttercups I had a long time ago were quite the spreaders.
