In our neck of the woods this time of year is to enjoy the wonderful birds who are stopping by as they continue their journey to the south. These were a few of the native birds who were enjoying the fresh seed we just put out. I am not sure who was having more enjoyment, the bird or our family watching them.
A wonderful thought for the New Year! Enjoying the day and hoping you are making it a day of rest and renewal as well.

How wonderful that you get to see such colorful species. We don't seem to have too many of the colorful birds stopping by here, but then it could be all the snow.
